What is your favourite part of your job?
That I'm constantly learning. Going into the job search, this was something that was important to me - I didn't want to remain stagnant. Being able to work with new code, learn how it works and figure out how to solve a problem keeps my work interesting.
What has been your proudest moment so far at Egencia?
Every time that I work on something that I haven't worked on before and end up learning something new, I feel proud. It's easy to fall into the same routine and work on the same kind of thing every day, but when you challenge yourself to learn something new and accomplish a goal, it makes a bigger impact professionally and personally.
What makes Egencia a great place to work?
The culture makes Egencia a great place to work. It's a very supportive and collaborative environment where I feel that my voice matters. Even when working remotely, I have felt welcomed and comfortable reaching out to anyone inside (or outside) of my team whenever I have a question.

What piece of career advice would you give candidates looking to join Egencia?
Some advice that I would give when looking to join Egencia is to ask questions and say yes to new opportunities that come your way. Volunteering for an event, attending a talk, or asking a question when you're not sure about something, can lead you to connect with great people who can provide resources or even become a mentor.
What are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about education - in all aspects of life. Whether professionally or personally, educating yourself and others is so important because it exposes you to things that you might have otherwise never known or overlooked. It can help you solve problems through a holistic approach and come up with a better solution.
